n the early 1800s, the Chivas brothers start storing whisky casks in their grocery store, to eventually blend them and sell them to their clients. After perfecting the art of blending, their Scotches reach international fame at the end of the 19th century. The 12 Year-Old blended Scotch was created in 1938, celebrating the company’s return to the United States after Prohibition. A balanced and elegant whisky displaying notes of flowers, honey and pear.
